Spatial and Temporal Variation Characteristics of Snowfall in the Haihe River Basin from 1960 to 2016

The spatio-temporal variation of precipitation under global warming had been a research hotspot. Snowfall is an important part precipitation, and its variabilities trends in different regions have received great attention. In this paper, the Haihe River Basin used as case, we employ K-means clustering method to divide basin into four sub-regions. double temperature threshold form exponential equation study identify phase states, based on daily temperature, snowfall, data from 43 meteorological stations around 1960 1979. Then, snowfall 2016 are established, spatial temporal analyzed according levels determined by national department. results evalueted zones show that (1) at each station can be effectively estimated annual scale through equation, for which correlation coefficient division above 0.95, relative error within 5%. (2) Except average light days moderate snow, heavy snowstorm order Zones III > IV I II. (3) number both decreasing trend, except increasing trend Zone I. (4) interannual not obvious, III, shows significant trend.
